ONE PLATFORM, MANY QUESTIONS
A Brain Storm experiment can vary by application, hypothesis, modality, coordinate source, timing, target, perturbation, measurement, and outcome.
The underlying goal remains the same:
Create controlled experimental conditions.
Preserve the evidence trail.
Measure what happens.
One programmable substrate. Different questions.
FOCUSED INITIAL APPLICATION
Parkinson’s disorder can involve changes across movement, sensory processing, timing, attention, and the coordination of information across multiple systems.
That makes it an important environment in which to investigate questions about programmable multisensory relationships.

EXAMPLES OF QUESTIONS WORTH TESTING
How do changes in sensory timing relate to movement?
How do different modalities interact during action?
Can experimentally controlled relationships reveal useful individual differences?
What changes during repeated experience?
Which measurable responses deserve further study?
Parkinson’s disorder gives Brain Storm focus. It does not define the limits of the platform.
HUMAN PERFORMANCE
Performance in aviation, defense, training, complex work, and other demanding environments can depend on how people integrate information across time, space, perception, attention, and action.
The objective is not to assume a performance benefit. It is to make performance-related hypotheses more testable.

ONE PROGRAMMABLE ARCHITECTURE
IMPLEMENTATION AND APPLICATION
Apple Vision Pro is the current spatial-computing environment used to develop and test portions of Brain Storm’s platform.
Fingerpad haptics are being developed as another independently programmable modality.
Neither defines the long-term limits of the architecture.
CURRENT IMPLEMENTATION
Coordinate sources, transforms, targets, modalities, sensors, and measurement systems should be able to evolve without redefining the experimental question.
The current development focus remains a single-user experimental platform.
EVIDENCE STATE ACROSS APPLICATIONS
DEMONSTRATED
Built, tested, and directly observable.
IN DEVELOPMENT
Actively being engineered and integrated.
INVESTIGATING
Research questions and potential effects under study.
A compelling application does not lower the standard of evidence.
Confidence should rise only when evidence does.
WHAT COULD COME NEXT
As evidence develops, additional clinical, rehabilitation, performance, training, and research applications may emerge from the same programmable architecture.
These are application categories, not claims of effectiveness.

APPLICATION SELECTION PRINCIPLE
Brain Storm should expand into a new application only when the platform can support a meaningful experimental question, a responsible measurement strategy, and evidence that justifies further work.
01
Meaningful question
02
Programmable condition
03
Measurable response
04
Evidence worth pursuing
Expansion follows evidence—not enthusiasm alone.
Bring the question, the environment, the measurement problem, or the hypothesis.
